We started working with big wooden screws, nuts and screwdrivers. It gave us a great opportunity to work our fine motor skills along with using hand-eye coordination and showing how creative we can be.

Here is the finished piece, he assembled together various parts that ended up resembling a racing car.
then we introduced pipes and pipes fitting, which again will help for their hand-eye coordination, creativity but also with working in group, sharing the resources that are available in a spirit of community. Sometimes it works, sometimes the want to keep things for themselves is overwhelming but we always get to an amiable solution.
